Virtual Edge offers virtual solutions that provide access to care patients need and expect. From primary and specialty care to hospital and home care, Virtual Edge is a channel of care delivery that spans the entire care continuum. It’s also designed to foster partnerships with other hospitals and health systems as well as employers and commercial payors. With a range of services and products to choose from, we’ll help you find the right virtual care options for your organization.
Our Virtual Edge services and products are designed, tested and perfected by the medical experts at Atrium Health. Here’s what we offer:
Virtual acute care services:
Virtual Behavioral Health Integration provides pediatric, primary care and OB/GYN practices with real-time access to a cross-functional behavioral health team. Primary care providers identify patients using the PHQ-9 depression screening tool. Once identified, assessment and treatment planning can begin immediately, with care being coordinated between the behavioral health team and the provider in the same visit.
Hospital at Home provides hospital-level care to clinically appropriate patients in the comfort and safety of their homes, including remote monitoring by a nurse, provider video visits and community paramedicine home visits.
Scheduled and on-demand video and phone visits for the full care continuum, including 24/7 access for acute, episodic care through real-time audio and video.
Asynchronous eVisits is a module-based visit, maximizing efficiency and convenience for patients and providers at a low cost. Patients can message their provider and will receive a message back.
New programs are continuing to be developed.
