We want to make it easy to get medical care for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Each week, we drive a mobile screening and testing bus to communities that need extra help.

If you’re having coronavirus symptoms, just walk up – you don’t need an appointment or identification (ID). Some symptoms are fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of smell and/or taste.

This testing center is only for community members with symptoms of coronavirus. Atrium Health is not able to clear employees for “Return to Work” at these locations. If you’re an employer looking for testing for your employees, please contact our return-to-work team at

See where we’re taking the screening and testing bus next. *If the weather is bad due to heavy rain or thunderstorms we will not be open.

For Patients WITH Insurance

The full cost for this COVID-19 test will be billed to your insurance company. If no proof of insurance is provided, Atrium Health will try to identify your insurance company after you receive care.

For Patients with NO Insurance

If you do not have insurance, and the service provided falls under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) during the COVID pandemic, you will not be billed for these services.

Dates and Locations

If you are unable to find a convenient mobile screening and testing location below, please call 704-468-8888 to schedule a test at an alternative location.

Wait times may be long. Each site will let cars know when they are full and can no longer take patients. This may be before the 2:30 p.m. closing time due to large number of people already in line. To schedule an appointment for a test at a different location, please call 704-468-8888.

How It Works

No appointment needed – screening and testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis.

  1. Know the symptoms. Get screened only if you have coronavirus symptoms – fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of smell and/or taste.
  2. Just walk up. You don’t need an appointment or any kind of identification (ID).
  3. Get tested, if you need it. Based on your symptoms, you might get tested in our mobile unit.

If you get tested, we’ll call or text you when your results are ready. From there, we’ll guide you to next steps in medical care.

Important: Your immigration status will never be shared, and we don’t report undocumented patients.
