About Me
Mrs. Weaver graduated with an Associate Degree in Science Radiography from Rowan Cabarrus Community College in 2000 and received her BS in Medical Imaging from Cabarrus in 2010, cum laude and completed her Master of Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University in 2013. She is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography, mammography, bone densitometry, and computed tomography. Mrs. Weaver is currently a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists, and the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences. She has been employed with Rowan Regional Medical Center for 15 years, working as a technologist in various imaging modalities including radiography, mammography, bone densitometry, and computed tomography.
In 2010, Mrs. Weaver joined Cabarrus College as the Medical Imaging Clinical Coordinator and the advisor for Lambda Nu. In 2014 she was appointed Program Chair of Medical Imaging. She is currently an Associate Professor and instructs various courses in the BSMI program and was also appointed Program Chair of the Health Sciences Leadership and Development program in 2021.
