About Me
Ms. Burns holds a Masters of Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin at Stout. Her background includes public, university, and community college library experience in Reference, Instruction, and Assistant Director positions. She has served as library liaison to allied health programs including Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, and Dental Hygienist. Her teaching background includes serving as online adjunct faculty in the Information and Library Science program at University of Maine at Augusta as well as research and information literacy instruction to allied health students at Central Piedmont Community College. Amy enjoys fitness activities, travel with her husband and friends, and creating custom jewelry.
