About Me
Mrs. Capotosta graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Gardner-Webb University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Gardner-Webb University as well. Her nursing background includes long-term care, acute rehabilitation, and oncology. She served as the oncology service line educator at CMC Main and assisted in the development of the oncology transition to practice program. She received certification from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN.) She found her passion in teaching others through precepting new hires and new graduates as a staff nurse, and teaching as an adjunct instructor for Stanly Community College. In 2019, she joined Cabarrus College as a part-time instructor and is thankful for the opportunity to help students obtain their nursing degree. While not working, Mrs. Capotosta loves being with her family and working out.
