About Me
Ms. Overfield graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Carolinas College of Health Sciences in 1998. Upon graduation she joined the healthcare team at Atrium Health Cabarrus where she worked for 15 years. She’s experience travel nursing; however, the bulk of her experience lies in the Emergency Department where she earned several certifications including Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE), Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and Certified SANE (SANE-A) in 2009. In 2013 she earned a BSN from Grand Canyon University, and a Master‘s in Nursing Education from Capella University in 2019.
She is a wife, mother of 3, and a grandmother of 6. Family and faith provide the strength needed to conquer any situation. She loves music, sappy movies, and laughter!
