Ms. DeDiemar is an alumnus of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences and has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Cincinnati, OH. Ms. DeDiemar received the Robert L. Wall Leadership Award from Cabarrus College which recognizes the graduate who exhibits leadership qualities and demonstrates the potential for future leadership roles in healthcare. Since graduating from the program, she has worked in skilled nursing facilities focusing on both short- and long-term rehabilitation, and in outpatient hand therapy clinics concentrated on upper extremity injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.

Ms. DeDiemar continues to work in skilled nursing facilities on an as-needed basis and although she appreciates the opportunity to work with a variety of diagnoses, her key areas of interest include orthopedics, behavioral health, and neurological disorders. She has experience as a Level II Fieldwork Educator in skilled nursing facilities which ignited her passion for teaching, and she is excited to bring her enthusiasm for the OTA profession to the students at Cabarrus College.

When she is not working, Ms. DeDiemar loves spending time with her daughter Ella doing crafts, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and playing with their dog Isabel.
