Before you get started, we recommend attending a virtual information session.

This is not an admission requirement; however, it is strongly encouraged that you attend a campus visit day or schedule a private one-on-one meeting.

There are 4 easy steps to apply:

One should provide a clear and concise explanation of your interest in Cabarrus College and your career in healthcare, and one should assess your level of critical thinking.

Nonrefundable Application Fee: $50

If you are an Atrium Health employee, fill out our Fast Track Application.

2. Send your transcripts and standardized test scores

To complete your admission file, we require official transcripts from all high schools and colleges you have previously attended, as well as standardized test scores.

3. Submit 2 professional references

Submit two professional references using the reference form

*When filling out a Fast Track Application, one of your professional reference forms must be completed by a current supervisor.

Forms can be sent to us via mail, email or fax.

4. Log in to view application status

Please allow 48 hours for your application to be processed.

Once the application has been processed by the admissions team, the applicant will receive a welcome email. This will instruct you on how to log into the applicant portal to review application status and checklist for admissions. 

Atrium Health Educational Loan Forgiveness Program

Atrium Health teammates are eligible for the loan forgiveness program and a tuition reduction. Forgivable loans of upwards to $10,000 are available for those who qualify. For more information, email
