How do I register for classes?
To register for classes, current students must meet with their
academic advisor and register through
Sonis during the published registration periods on the
academic calendar. Specific registration instructions are provided to students by their advisors at the time of registration.
Students must meet with their academic advisors prior to registering in order to have the hold removed in SonisWeb.
How will I receive my registration information?
New and returning students will receive their registration information via email.
If I need a course and I am unable to register for it because it is full, what should I do?
If a class is full, students should add themselves to the waiting list for the course. This waiting list allows Cabarrus College to monitor the need for the class and helps determine if an
additional course section needs to be opened.
May I enroll in a course that requires a prerequisite if I have not taken the prerequisite?
Students generally may not enroll in a course that requires a prerequisite if they have not taken the prerequisite.
There are limited circumstances where prerequisites may be waived with approval from the Program Chair, Registrar or
Provost.
