  • State Authorization
    Higher education institutions must be authorized to offer distance education programs and/or courses in states other than their own. Admission to a program or course is dependent on Carolinas College's ability to secure authorization from the applicant's state of residence, if authorization is required. On April 11, 2017, the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), approved institutional participation for Carolinas College. Learn more about NC-SARA.

  • Professional Licensure Disclosure

    Federal regulations require the College to disclose whether its educational programs meet U.S. jurisdictions’ educational requirements for licensure (34 CFR 668.43(a)(6)& 34 CFR 668.72(n)). While Carolinas College clinical programs employ best practices in healthcare education to prepare students for professional licensure, certification, and practice, the educational requirements to sit for credentialing examinations and to practice vary from one state to the next.

    Prospective and enrolled students are strongly encouraged to follow up with the licensing board or regulatory agency in the state/territory in which they wish to practice. Carolinas College Program Chairs are available for guidance and assistance.
