The RN to BSN Nursing program is our new online program designed to prepare our students for leadership in clinical practice and career advancement. This flexible online program allows registered nurses to achieve their educational goals while working. Please be aware that only complete applications with transcripts will be processed. The instructions below will help you submit a complete application. We suggest that you submit your online application, fee and all transcripts at the same time. There are five easy steps to apply:

Step 1 - Application

Submit your completed application and the non-refundable $60 application fee.

Step 2 - College Transcripts

A minimum 2.5 cumulative college GPA is required. Submit official, unopened college transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.

Step 3 -Proof of current, unencumbered RN license

Step 4 - Completion of the following courses, or their equivalent, prior to or while concurrently enrolled in the program:

  1. English Composition (3 credits)
  2. Human Anatomy & Physiology with Lab (8 credits)
  3. Microbiology with Lab (4 credits)
  4. College Math (3 credits)
  5. Introduction to Psychology (3 credits)
  6. Developmental Psychology (3 credits)
  7. Introduction to Sociology(3 credits)
  8. 200-level Humanities Elective (3 credits)
  9. General Education Elective (3 credits)

Step - 5 Deadline

Submit a complete application by the deadline. All required documents must be received by the deadline.

Applicants must be citizens of the United States or hold permanent resident status. Carolinas College of Health Sciences does not authorize student visas. Applicants with foreign transcripts are required to present an official transcript evaluation from one of the agencies listed below that includes all of the courses attempted, credit and grades earned.

Applicants who attended high school or college outside of the United States must submit a TOEFL score as part of the application packet by the application deadline. A score of 220 (computer version) or 83 (iBT: Internet Based) is required. Contact TOEFL (School code: 5130).
