Carolinas College seeks to quickly resolve complaints and grievances. Students who are enrolled should follow the Student Complaint Procedure.

If a complaint cannot be resolved after exhausting Carolinas College’s procedure described above, the student may file a complaint with any the following agencies:

1) Carolinas College of Health Sciences is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Students may submit complaints to the SACSCOC, the college’s regional accrediting body, if an issue has not been resolved and are encouraged to review the Complaint Procedures Policy Statement prior to filing a complaint.

2) Carolinas College of Health Sciences is a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement – North Carolina (SARA-NC), which is the state portal agency for the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority.  If unable to resolve a complaint at the college level, students have the right to contact the state portal agency, SARA-NC, to submit a complaint. Students should follow the agency’s complaint process and use the form listed below.

3) Students have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Division of the North Carolina Department of Justice with the State Attorney General, particularly complaints regarding applicable state laws.
