Eligibility

Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from and ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy. Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency accredited by ASHP (or one in the process of accreditation) is required. Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S permanent resident and be eligible for pharmacist licensure in North Carolina. Individuals requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible candidates for the program. 

Instructions

Candidates interested in applying should do the following

  • Register for the ASHP residency matching program
  • Ensure eligibility for North Carolina licensure. Licensure must be obtained by August 1 of the residency year
  • Submit an application for the residency program via PhORCAS 

Required Application Information

  • Completed PhORCAS application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Academic Transcripts
  • Letter of Intent (outlining the resident’s goals and why they are choosing the program at Atrium Health)
  • Three letters of recommendation
