Jacob Frady completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he received a B.S., Summa Cum Laude, in Biology and Chemistry. He was awarded the UNC-W Department of Biology Senior Honorary Award and the William S. Deloach Scholarship in Excellence in Chemistry. In addition, Jacob co-founded the UNC-W chapter of the American Medical Student Association.

Jacob enrolled in the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in 2008 and completed his doctorate of medicine in 2012. During medical school, he served in many leadership roles including the LCME Accreditation Student Committee, Faculty Appreciation Committee, and the Brody School of Medicine Summer Program for Future Doctors.

His hobbies include: running, hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
