At Atrium Health Cabarrus, we understand that your family and friends are important to you and your health, and have established an open visitation policy. The nurse may temporarily limit visiting hours based on changes in the patient's condition.

Acute Coronary Care Unit Visiting Hours

One designated family member may stay at the patient's bedside to help lessen the patient's anxiety or fears except during the hours of 6 to 8 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Others may visit from 8 to 9 a.m., noon to 2 p.m., 5 to 6 p.m., and 8 to 9 p.m.

Cardiovascular Recovery Unit Visiting Hours

No visitors are allowed from 6 to 8 a.m., and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation is allowed from 8 to 8:15 a.m., 10 to 10:15 a.m., 1 to 1:15 p.m., 5 to 5:15 p.m., and 8 to 8:15 p.m.

Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours

Two visitors at a time will be allowed in the patient's room during the hours of 9 to 10 a.m., noon to 2 p.m., 4:30 to 6 p.m. and 8:30 to 10 p.m.

Dialysis Visiting Hours

Visitation during dialysis treatment is limited to one visitor at a time in the treatment area with no more than one five-minute visit per hour.

Mariam Cannon Hayes Family Center Visiting Hours

The father of the baby or significant other is welcome at any time. Other visitors are allowed from 6 a.m. to 2p.m and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In the NICU, visitors are welcome any time except 6:30-7:30 in the morning and evening. Siblings are welcome to visit on a limited basis. 

Pediatrics/Children's Hospital Visiting Hours

Parents and grandparents may visit at any time, visitors under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and may only visit immediate family members. Visitors are limited to three people at any one time. One person may spend the night. Any person taking chemotherapy or susceptible to infectious diseases should not visit the Pediatric Unit without first checking with the nurse in charge.
