Dr. Moynihan is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She specializes in high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, menopause and improving health with diet and exercise.
She loves the variety involved in the field, from spending time in the office, to the hospital and to the operating room. She wants to help her patients feel their absolute best and maximize their health.
Dr. Moynihan always wanted to be a doctor, but became certain of it during a period of time spent in and out of the hospital dealing with her mother's breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
She received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Moynihan has a fantastic husband and 2 young boys. She loves to run and exercise and has completed 7 marathons, including the Boston Marathon. She also enjoys golf, being outdoors, reading historical fiction and eating the things that other people cook.
