Dr. Wells is board certified in family medicine with a special interest in geriatrics and caring for patients with diabetes. She is the assistant specialty medical director for the family medicine West division covering Lincoln, Gaston and Cleveland Counties.
She believes it’s a privilege to care for people throughout their entire lives. She values helping her patients not just physically but mentally and spiritually as well.
She received her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Nebraska.
Dr. Wells enjoys camping, hiking and hunting for sharks’ teeth off the Carolina coast with her children. When she’s not adventuring outdoors, she delves into reading books about medical research, local history and romance.
