“I love to care for others! I’m especially drawn to teaching, not only my patients and their families, but I’m currently a preceptor for advanced practice provider students. I attempt to make each patient and family feel cared for and special, giving each the time they need to voice concerns and ask questions.”
Thomas is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
She started her career as a nurse in pediatrics but wanted to care for the whole family, so she went back to school for her family nurse practitioner training.
Thomas received her master’s degree in nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Frontier Nursing University.
Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her husband, 3 children and 8 grandchildren. They enjoy boating and fishing, and she loves cooking and baking. Two of her children work in healthcare. One daughter is an occupational therapist, another is a midwife.
