“My goal is to help my patients understand why they had a stroke and what they can do to prevent another one. I also strive to give stroke patients hope, faith and support through this difficult time.”
Patel is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in stroke neurology. Her mother survived a massive stroke and was successfully treated by a neurology team at Atrium Health. When Patel was offered the opportunity to be a part of that team, she knew it was her time to give back.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her extended family, husband and their 3 children, including a set of twins. She loves to travel, cook and walk on the beach.
