Biography
“I chose to be a doctor because I wanted to help others, but the job has given me more than I could have imagined. I feel tremendously privileged that patients come to me for advice, and I try to earn that privilege every day by keeping up my knowledge base, listening to patients' concerns and partnering with patients to improve their health or symptoms.”
Dr. Wu is board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. She specializes in general neurology, headaches, neuropathy, electromyography and nerve conduction studies.
She has been named a Top Doctor by Charlotte Magazine.
Dr. Wu chose neurology because she felt the specialty embodied the intersection of hard and soft science. For her, neurology manifested the connection between physiology and what makes us human.
She feels lucky to be surrounded by wonderful colleagues and staff in a field that fosters collaboration and has made significant progress over time to improve the health of the community.
Dr. Wu received her medical degree at Stanford University and completed a residency and fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children.
