Anna Ek is a board-certified physician assistant. She focuses on treating patients in acute or urgent care settings.
Ek loves working in urgent care because she sees all ages of patients, treats a broad variety of conditions and performs various procedures. No day is the same, which makes her excited to start every shift.
She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at South University.
In her free time, she loves reading fiction, mystery and suspense books, trying out new recipes, exercising and going to the U.S. National Whitewater Center. In the fall, Ek enjoys watching football, especially the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and the Carolina Panthers. Spending time watching movies or playing games with her family are also favorite activities.
