Antoinette R. Tan, MD, MHSc, is the Chief of Breast Medical Oncology and Co-Director of the Phase I Program at Levine Cancer Institute. She is Chief of Medical Oncology at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville location. She is also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of North Carolina. Her research interests focus on targeted treatments for breast cancer and drug development. She has extensive experience in the conduct of early phase clinical trials and breast cancer studies. Dr. Tan has served on the American Society of Clinical Oncology Education Program, as Chair and as a Breast Cancer Track Leader. In 2012, she was awarded the NCI Cancer Clinical Investigator Team Leadership Award.
