Biography
“I chose sleep medicine because I have the opportunity to help both my patients and their families improve virtually every aspect of their lives. Sleep problems affect everything we do.”
Dr. Miller is board certified in pediatrics. She has clinical interests in sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, hypersomnia, REM sleep behavior disorder, shift work sleep disorder, circadian rhythm disorder and nightmares.
When Dr. Miller was young, she was under the specialized care of two amazing doctors. She feels God used their influence in her life to point her toward helping others through the practice of medicine.
She received her bachelor’s degree in pre-med from Bob Jones University and her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed residency at The University of Texas, where she was honored with the Greg Krause, MD Golden Bow Tie Award. She completed a fellowship at Duke University.
Outside of work, Dr. Miller and her husband enjoy attending church, traveling to historic landmarks, camping and playing with their golden retriever. She also plays the trumpet and flugelhorn and enjoys lap swimming for exercise.
