Biography

“I love the positive energy kids have and really enjoy the complex family dynamic of treating children. It’s necessary to build rapport really quickly, and that’s something that comes naturally to me. Monitoring the development of children is key to making sure they can attain their full potential, and I want to do my part to ensure our next generation is set up to prosper.”

Dr. Williams is board certified in pediatrics and is driven to help children become good stewards of their health and of the world in which they live. He specializes in newborn care (including elective circumcisions and prematurity), sports injuries, and the diagnosis and management of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and ADHD. He has a clinical interest in integrating natural health approaches into traditional medicine.

Dr. Williams attended the Citadel, a military college, where he majored in biology and graduated summa cum laude, earning numerous president’s lists awards and several commandant’s

lists awards. He received his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a residency at the University of Vermont. In residency, he was awarded for his contributions to teaching students in their pediatrics rotations. After residency, Dr. Williams served as an active duty pediatrician with the United States Air Force and was awarded Officer of the Quarter for his work in the pediatrics department.

He is married with a son. He and his wife enjoy being active outside and are strong advocates for being good stewards of the earth. They learned to love nature and the outdoors while living in Vermont and continue to enjoy hiking, running, walking, biking and volunteering to maintain the local parks in the area. Dr. Williams is a private pilot and enjoys flying. When not playing outdoors, he and his wife love to travel, explore new restaurants, cook, spend time with friends, or simply stay in and watch movies.
