Fetrow is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in cardiac and thoracic surgery.
He chose cardiothoracic surgery after earning his master’s degree in anatomy. Fetrow appreciates the intricacies in the anatomy of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, which led him to seek experience and further knowledge in heart failure research. Helping solve the problems that could arise as a result of multiple disease pathways fascinates him.
Fetrow received his master’s degree in anatomy at Pennsylvania State University and his physician assistant training at James Madison University. He is certified in basic life support, cardiac surgical unit advanced life support (CSU-ALS) and emergency neurological life support (ENLS).
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter. His hobbies include reading, exercising, playing golf and watching his favorite sports teams.
