Biography

“The mental and emotional well-being of a child plays an important role as they become a healthy, successful, well-functioning adult. I believe early intervention is key, so my desire is to work with young people and their families to improve their mental health and help them reach their goals in life.”

Dr. Bullard is board certified in psychiatry. She treats a variety of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder.

She is the associate director of the Psychiatry Clerkship at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.

Dr. Bullard won an Atrium Health Excellence in Medical Student Teaching Award and is a featured medical speaker for local television news stations.

She received her medical degree at East Carolina University and completed a residency and fellowship at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their dog.  She also enjoys family walks, travel, decorating and arts and crafts.
