Dr. Kirsch is medical director of Carolinas HealthCare System Sleep Medicine at Atrium Health where he maintains an active clinical sleep practice and oversees sleep medicine for more than 40 hospitals. He is also a professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Neurology at Atrium Health and is the 2018-19 President of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kirsch has extensive clinical expertise in sleep medicine and has been heavily focused on physician education. He has more than 35 book chapters and peer-reviewed publications. He is board-certified in neurology and sleep medicine and is a Fellow of both the AAN and AASM.
