Biography

“I love helping my patients regain their physical ability to live a wholesome and full life. To be able to restore self-confidence and relieve discomfort is the most rewarding part of my practice.”

Dr. Taylor is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He specializes in genital prolapse, incontinence, congenital genital anomalies, transgender medicine and surgery, fistulas and uterine fibroids. He is the medical director at the Charlotte Continence Center.

He was drawn to OB/GYN because of the personal interactions he has with patients and the life changing impact he can have when treating patients who are experiencing rare conditions.

He received his undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University and his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and followed that with a fellowship at Northside Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Taylor enjoys endurance sports, triathlons, reading, live music, travel and theater.
