“I love the honesty and humor that comes with working with children. I am grateful for the privilege to build relationships with families and learn what makes a child tick.”

Hyndman is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, specializing in primary care. She’s especially interested in mental and behavioral health, autism, developmental disorders, chronic illnesses and asthma.

She is a member of the Quality Through Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics Program, which works to incorporate up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines in pediatric care. The team focuses on improving adolescent and mental healthcare, chronic illnesses and making sure all families have access to the resources they need.

For her, medicine is an amazing combination of building relationships, teaching, learning, understanding science and problem-solving. She’s passionate about helping families navigate what’s important to them and figuring out what steps to take to help a child thrive.

She earned her graduate degree from Boston College.

She’s happiest when she’s hiking or kayaking with her dog, Scout. As a New Englander, she enjoys cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snowshoeing. She’s known around the office for baking sweet treats and sharing them with her colleagues and friends.
