Dr. Walker is board certified in family, palliative and hospice medicine. He specializes in palliative medicine and symptom management for patients with serious illnesses.

Dr. Walker received his medical degree and completed a fellowship at Indiana University.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his husband, son and miniature schnauzer. Together, they spend time in Asheville hiking and enjoying nature. They also travel domestically and internationally. When on his own, he enjoys running, exercising, theater and writing.
