Castor is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She also focuses on contraception and preventing teen pregnancy.
She is an advanced practice provider (APP) and teaches classes that help mothers and their babies adjust to their new lives together. She was nominated for an Atrium Health Teal Acorn Patient Satisfaction Award.
Castor values the opportunity to care for her patients, not only during pregnancy but throughout their lives.
Castor received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
She and her husband are active in their church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and using her chef skills to try out new recipes.
