Biography
"I believe that all humankind has the right for clinically excellent and compassionate healthcare. I feel that regardless of our diversity, our one common thread is the hope for good health."
Silsby is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine, women's health and adolescent health.
She received a certificate of recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for delivery of high-quality diabetes care. Additionally, she is involved in coronavirus disease COVID-19 research.
She chose to pursue family medicine because she enjoys caring for individuals as well as whole families. She initially became interested in nursing as a young mother due to the opportunities it could provide for her family.
Silsby is honored to help people take ownership of their health, work with them to achieve their goals and enjoy the blessings of good health throughout their lifetime.
She received her master's degree in nursing at the University of Scranton.
Silsby enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time outdoors walking, hiking and in her garden. She likes a variety of books and music and cherishes time spent with her 2 adult children.
