O’Neill is a board-certified physician assistant. She has a special interest in internal medicine, the management of chronic illnesses, preventive health and acute care.
She completed her physician assistant training at Wake Forest University.
Before becoming a physician assistant, O’Neill was a clinical dietitian and continues to enjoy cooking and reading cookbooks, especially those that are vegan, whole food-centered and plant-based. She and her husband are empty-nesters and enjoy walking with their rescue dog, hiking and escaping to Asheville, NC.
