“I do my job to empower generations of women to feel comfortable and confident in the body they are in. From annual wellness exams to prenatal appointments to gynecologic-related concerns later in life, I want females to feel safe and comfortable when seeking care, whatever age they are.”
Tate is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
She was a labor and delivery nurse for 4 years and knew from the moment she started practicing in the specialty that obstetrics was where she wanted to be. She loves all aspects of women’s health and is passionate about encouraging other females.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their cat, 3 dogs, family and friends. They enjoy going to concerts, boating on the lake in the summer and watching college football in the fall. Traveling is a favorite activity, especially to an island or a city full of history.
