Dr. Meekins is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She specializes in complex and routine antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care and emergency obstetric and gynecologic care.
She’s been recognized as a Charlotte magazine Top Doctor. After participating in local medical school summer programs, Dr. Meekins decided that she would pursue OB/GYN.
Dr. Meekins received her medical degree at Howard University and completed a residency at Georgia Regents University. She is a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 children. They enjoy traveling locally and internationally to learn about other cultures. She also enjoys meditation, exercise and healthy eating. Dr. Meekins is learning to play violin and loves arts and crafts, especially wreath making, interior design and painting with her children.
