“Over the past 35-plus years, I have pursued a ‘calling’ to offer quality care and commitment to my patients in the realm of orthopedic surgery.”

Dr. Lehman is board certified in orthopedics. He specializes in general orthopedic surgery and treats patients of all ages, with a focus on surgical and non-surgical treatments of the upper extremity (shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand), spine, joints and trauma.

He is the senior and founding partner of the orthopedic practice based in Rock Hill, SC, now an integral part of Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Beyond the general practice of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Lehman is committed to international public health issues. He has been actively involved in teaching in Bhutan, Peru, Tanzania and Honduras, and also works to address water quality and sanitation issues.

Dr. Lehman received his university degree in biological sciences at Stanford University and his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University. He completed a family practice and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado.

He’s been happily married to his wife, Joanne, for more than 35 years. Together, they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Lehman enjoys landscaping and playing the bassoon, and considers himself a (rather poor) aficionado of golf and tennis.
