We joined together as a unified enterprise to bring a new era of healthcare to Winston-Salem, the Triad and the entire Southeast region. We are incredibly excited about the advances we will make together over the coming years.

We are very proud to share our plan to invest nearly $3.4 billion into the Winston-Salem area. This will fund state of-the-art facilities across the communities we are privileged to serve. The investments will also create additional jobs in our communities. Some of these exciting plans include:

The two medical school campuses in Winston-Salem and Charlotte will create a new preeminent regional corridor for health technology and innovation. Wake Forest School of Medicine - Charlotte is expected to break ground in early 2022.
