James Schaffer, MD, is returning to SouthPark in mid-July after practicing out of our One Health Reese Boulevard location for the past year.
Dr. Schaffer is board certified in family medicine. He completed his medical school training at Duke University, an internship at Bremerton Naval Hospital and a residency at Jacksonville Naval Hospital.
“As a Charlotte native, I have long been driven to improve the health of the local community. An Arabian proverb set the tone for my work and my life’s mission: ‘He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything.’”
Dr. Schaffer is passionate about providing patient-centered care for the entire family.
He is married and has 2 daughters who keep he and his wife busy and entertained. Dr. Schaffer enjoys sports, travel, wine and reading.
