International Medical Outreach

The International Medical Outreach (IMO) program is a collaboration between Atrium Health and the Heineman Foundation of Charlotte. It has a 50-year history of delivering medical assistance globally and establishing sustainable health care.

IMO helps create and improve patient care and public health programs in more than 20 countries throughout Central America, the Caribbean, Africa and Europe. It provides free educational opportunities to local medical providers and free equipment to hospitals and clinics.
