Big Brothers Big Sisters

The Big Brothers Big Sisters program brings Atrium Health teammates together with children for one-on-one mentoring. Atrium Health also provides guest speakers around nutrition, physical activity, mental health, stress, financial literacy, conflict resolution, self-esteem, careers and leadership.

Atrium Health and Big Brothers Big Sisters in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties launched a partnership to provide Atrium Health mentors (Bigs) with local students (Littles) to introduce them to a corporate environment, promoting personal development skills and values needed with a professional workspace. This program is designed to last for the entire 2017-18 school year, and gives the students an opportunity to interact with their Atrium Health mentor in activities "beyond school walls."
