Recipe: Yogurt and Fruit Parfait
Now that the school year is in full swing, breakfast needs to be quick and easy. Creamy yogurt, a handful of fresh or frozen fruit, and the crunch of granola will get your entire family off to a good start. Make the parfaits in to-go containers the night before – without adding the granola – and your family can grab breakfast on the go.
Ingredients
3 cups vanilla Greek yogurt (for added protein!)
1 cup fresh or defrosted frozen strawberries
1 pint fresh or defrosted frozen blackberries, raspberries or blueberries
1 cup breakfast granola
Directions
Combine all of the fruit.
Layer 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt into the bottom of 3 tall glasses or into a lidded plastic container.
Alternate layers of fruit and granola with yogurt until glasses are filled to the top.
