Prior to joining Carolinas Simulation Center in 2023 as a simulation service line educator, Cherice Avila provided nursing instruction as faculty in LPN, ADN and BSN programs. Primary areas of instruction included basic and advanced nursing skills and facilitating simulation-based learning experiences. Most recently, she held a clinical faculty position managing clinical rotations. Cherice has practice experience in medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics and a variety of outpatient clinics.
