Before joining Carolina's Simulation Center in 2024 as a Simulation Service Line Educator, Erin McGarvey delivered nursing care across various inpatient settings, including medical-surgical, intermediate care, telemetry, and travel nursing. She then transitioned to a role as a nurse educator, teaching in both LPN and ADN programs. Her responsibilities included instructing fundamentals and acute care nursing lectures, skills labs, clinicals, and facilitating simulation-based learning experiences. Erin is also a certified instructor in basic life support and has completed the INACSL Simulation Education Program.
