Dr. Stuhlman is a clinical psychologist with a background in the development and assessment of professional development programs who has been with Atrium Health and Carolinas Simulation Center since 2023. Before joining Atrium Health, Dr. Stuhlman was a Research Scientist at the Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning at the University of Virginia for over 15 years. As a Research Manager at Carolinas Simulation Center, she supports the development and implementation of research with and on simulation-based education, and associated data analysis and dissemination. Her areas of interest include the study of educational practices that maximize the development of critical thinking skills, developing measurement tools that accurately assess complex learner outcomes, and using data to inform quality improvement efforts.
