Prior to joining Carolinas Simulation Center in 2021 as a simulation service line educator, Pamela Buck provided nursing instruction as faculty in NA, LPN, ADN, and BSN programs. The most recent of those experiences included her role as a simulation specialist at a college of nursing, where she facilitated simulation-based learning experiences across the curriculum for BSN students. As a critical care nurse her background includes surgical-trauma, neuro, and vascular ICU areas.
Pamela’s interests include contributing to potential research regarding the impact of healthcare simulation on patient safety and outcomes, and healthcare equity.
