Description
Join our Artist in Residence, Andrea, virtually as she guides you through a relaxing art project in the comfort of your own space!
Mixed Media with Mindfulness: Create a fall-inspired expressive art piece using mixed media techniques. All experiences welcome!
Suggested Materials:
Surface: Sketchbook, canvas board, watercolor paper, etc.
Acrylic or Watercolor Paint
Paint Brushes
Water
Rag for cleaning brushes
Magazine, scrapbook paper, newspaper, etc.
Glue
Pen or Marker
*Note, these are suggested and optional materials. Not all are necessary. Please use what you already have on hand!
Instructors
Andrea Sowle, BA, Artist in Residence
Andrea is and artist-in-residence at Levine Cancer Institute, serving at the Cabarrus and University locations, and through virtual classes. She encourages patients, staff, care-partners, and community members to use the creative process as therapy and a means of social connection. Andrea also enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends around a campfire and playing games.
