Description
Join our Artist in Residence, Andrea, virtually as she guides you through a relaxing art project in the comfort of your own space!
Gain a deeper understanding of those various graphite pencils in a drawing set and put them to use with a drawing exercise. All experiences welcome!
Suggested Materials:
White Drawing Surface
Graphite pencil set (Ex: 6B, 3B, HB, 2H, etc. You may have different varieties.
Blending Stump/Tortillion (optional)
Eraser
Scrap paper
*Note, these are suggested and optional materials. Not all are necessary. Please use what you already have on hand!
Instructors
Andrea Sowle
Andrea is and artist-in-residence at Levine Cancer Institute, serving at the Cabarrus and University locations, and through virtual classes. She encourages patients, staff, care-partners, and community members to use the creative process as therapy and a means of social connection. Andrea also enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends around a campfire and playing games.
