Description
This support group is a safe space where you can share your experiences, find encouragement, and connect with others who understand what you're going through as a care partner caring for a loved one diagnosed with cancer.

Speakers
Audrey Sherman
Audrey Sherman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Levine Cancer Institute with 11 years of pediatric and adult oncology experience. She holds the Oncology of Social Work certification and is a member of the Association of Oncology Social Workers. Her clinical practice includes helping patients and families navigate the challenges of having a cancer diagnosis while providing practical resources aimed at improving their wellbeing.

The purpose of the group is to gather and share strategies and information, offer encouragement, and develop a sense of community for anyone providing care for their loved ones.
Where are groups held?
Where are groups held?
The support groups are held virtually every 1st Thursday of each month from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
Who can attend the group?
Who can attend the group?
Any person 18 or older providing care can attend the support group.
Will what I share with the group be confidential?
Will what I share with the group be confidential?
Yes, there is an agreement among all attendees that whatever is said within the group stays within the group! However, the facilitator is a mandated reporter and required to report suspected or known instances of abuse.
