Clinical Trials: The Basics, Made Simple
Description
Clinical trials help us find better ways to treat cancer and improve quality of life, but many people are not sure what clinical trials are or how to learn if one might be right for them. This workshop explains clinical trials in a simple, easy‑to‑understand way.
Please join us Friday, June 26 • 12:00–1:00 PM ET • Online (free)
Participants will learn what clinical trials are, why they matter, and how they work. We’ll also talk about common myths and how to ask your care team questions about clinical trials. This session is meant to help you feel informed, confident, and empowered to take an active role in your care—now or in the future.
This workshop is available to patients, caregivers, and teammates, It is brought to you by the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program and the Department of Supportive Oncology. It is made possible by a collaboration between Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Cancer Support Community.
