How Financial Navigators Can Help
Description

How Can Financial Navigators Help You?
Understanding Costs Financial navigators explain what your health insurance plan might not cover and your out-of-pocket expenses.
Insurance Issues They can guide you through options if you lose your health insurance during treatment like COBRA, which allows you to temporarily keep your employer-sponsored coverage, or by helping you find a new plan through the federal government's Health Exchange, aka Health Insurance Marketplace. They can also assist with understanding eligibility for government programs like Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, SSDI and SSI.
Saving Money They can try to find ways to reduce your treatment costs.
Connecting to Resources They connect you to other Atrium Health resources that can provide additional assistance and support.
In-person participation includes a boxed lunch. Virtual option available to all; separate registration required, see "VIRTUAL OPTION."
Atrium Health Levine Cancer Center is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Masks will be required for in-person attendees, and hand sanitizing stations will be available. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to create a safe environment for everyone.
